How much are your custom cakes?
I do not have a standard price list for custom cakes because every cake is unique and designed to fit the individual needs and satisfaction of my customers. Prices are determined on a project-by-project basis.
How do I order a Custom Cake?
Orders can be placed via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org, or through the online quote request form. If e-mailing, please allow 48 hours for a reply.
I suggest at least 3 weeks notice on all custom orders. I will try my best to accommodate short notice orders, however it is not guaranteed.
How far in advance should I book my wedding cake appointment?
I suggest booking your consultation at least 2-3 weeks before you would like to meet, and approximately 4-6 months before your wedding date depending on the month you are getting married.
Consultations are free of charge and take place during regular business hours, Sunday-Friday. If a scheduling conflict arises, I will try my best to accommodate a date and time that better fits your schedule.
What do I need to bring to my consultation?
Standard information including the date of your occasion, approximate number of guests, the location of the event, and any other details for that day. It would also be beneficial to bring color swatches, invitations, details from your wedding dress/bridesmaids dresses, pictures from the internet or magazines, etc. and any other small details that you would like to see included in your cake.
What is your payment policy?
Any order that is above $150.00 requires a 30% non-refundable deposit when ordering. The remaining amount is due two weeks prior to your event (some exceptions can be made). Any custom cake orders that are placed less than two weeks prior to your event, require payment in full.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you choose to cancel your order, you must notify me at least 6 business days in advance. At this time you will be refunded your remaining balance, however the deposit is non-refundable. If your cancellation request is made less than 6 days before your event there will be no payment refund.
What are your methods of payment?
I accept cash, cheques, and most major credit cards (Visa, Master Card).
Do you deliver?
Yes! I deliver to most Southern Ontario regions, however depending on the region, special arrangements must be considered. Delivery charges are based on both kilometers traveled and time, please ask for details.
If the delivery option is declined, the cake will be picked up and transported by the client at their own risk as I cannot be held responsible for any damages to the cake after it leaves the premises.
What can you do for someone with allergies or diet limitations?
